I went to Sweden at least half a dozen times, while I live in Brunei, since our primary contractor to build the Living Quarters was a Swedish company. During one of my trips, Tera accompanied me, and we took a weekend after working to see other beautiful parts of Sweden.
Highlights: #1 - Bjertorp Slott Hotel - this gem of a hotel was located very close to the Emtunga headquarters. It was an old castle, next to a golf course, with an incredible restaurant for dinner, and with a huge Swedish buffet for breakfast. It is one of my favorite hotels in the world #2 - Window shopping in Marstrand - window shopping is normally one of my least favorite activities, but here in this nautical harbor tourist town, it was enjoyable #3 - Island Bed and Breakfast - We stayed on a tiny island, which I can’t even find on Google Maps, at a charming little bed and breakfast, with crisp shockingly bright white linens and the softest down comforter. We walked the width and breadth of the village, mostly walking on the granite walks at the seaside (no beaches here, everything was original stone)
